Helen Dalley-Fisher is a gender policy advocate and former human rights lawyer with both Australian and International focus. She is the Convenor of the Equality Rights Alliance, one of Australia’s six National Women’s Alliances. ERA advocates for policy which advances women’s economic security and leadership and which promotes the fulfilment of the human rights of women and girls in all their diversity and of all people marginalised by gender. 

Helen coordinates the Australian NGO delegation to the UN’s Commission on the Status of Women and is a regular participant in various UN human Rights Treaty processes, particularly CEDAW and the Universal Periodic Review of Human Rights. 

Prior to her current role, Helen spent 13 years as a lawyer specialising in discrimination law, welfare rights law and tenancy law in community legal centres.
