There’s always something to share and learn, and Julie Smith’s role at CBM is helping to document the different approaches CBM Australia use to better include people with disability and get the word out about what works, and what doesn’t. As well as working for 25 years in the international development sector, Julie is also a freelance cartoonist – so if it’s a choice between an illustration or an essay to get the message across, she always opt for the drawing as it cuts across language and culture.
