Shiva is a humanitarian and environmental advocate and activist, currently the Head of Pacific at Greenpeace Australia Pacific. With over 20 years of experience in the field, he has dedicated his career to working with marginalised communities across the world, particularly children and women, in conflict zones and humanitarian disaster areas. His work has primarily focused on combating child sexual trafficking and leading rescue efforts to safeguard children as young as 1 year old as well as post disaster development and aid. He values the deepest connections to First Nations and Indigenous wisdom from across the world but holds an even more special place for Pasifika and Aboriginal communities, people and family. He is an ardent enthusiast for sports, quantum physics, charcoal art, eastern traditional music, Indigenous history and a deep passion and drive for anything to fight for social and humanitarian justice.
