Building on her experience at the Open Government Partnership, Anabel will explore the dynamic interplay between government and civil society in fostering solidarity and collaboration globally. As civic space diminishes in many parts of the world, it is crucial to understand how these collaborations can be preserved and strengthened. Anabel will also explore the essential role of civic space in achieving development outcomes, and challenge us to think about the role that international development and humanitarian organisations could and should have in supporting and sustaining civic space globally.
